Each year the Film Selection
Committee selects over 250 films for initial
review and provides approximately 75 films for
the full RMWFF organization to view and review.
This unusual jury process–complete
with spirited discussion–ensures a breadth and
depth of films–all stories well told and well
produced–for our filmgoers. We preview and select
short form and feature length dramatic and documentary
works, experimental films, and animation.
Our principle concern
in film selection is a well written story and
a well made film.
Previous filmmakers make
recommendations regarding up and coming filmmakers;
filmmakers also will self-submit a film for
review, and we actively recruit films.
